Semester 2 WHS Policies and Procedures Reminders

Class meetings were held at the start of Semeter 2. The following information was presented to all students.

Attendance Reminders

Students should report to the attendance office after an absence with appropriate documentation (prior to PEP)

Students must present official documentation for absences exceeding 6 days (doctor, court appearance, etc.)

Students that accumulate more than 6 absences per semester may be put on an attendance plan and could be in jeopardy of credit denial

Hall Passes and Ipods

Students must use their planner passes in order to leave a classroom

Students should not be in the hallway without their signed planner or a office request slip

IPods should not be used in the hallways

IPods are to be turned off and put away prior to leaving the cafeteria

IPod use in classrooms is prohibited unless the teacher has given permission

Cafeteria

Do not run to get in to line

Do not line jump

Remain seated

When finished eating, remove all trash from your area

Use appropriate voice tones

You need a pass to leave the lunch room

Lockers

From the Student Handbook:

Use your own locker

Items to be placed in Locker by 8:45 am.

Hats

Book bags, backpacks and string bags

Dress Code Reminders

Dress Code Violations

Students will be asked:

To get appropriate clothing from locker

To wear clothing provided by Administration

Hats are not to be seen after 8:45 am

Week of Jan. 30th: Student asked to place in locker

Week of Feb. 6th: Teachers send student to AP office

Hat Violations           

Consequences:

Sign policy and hat kept until end of day

Sign policy, 1 lunch detention and hat kept until end of day

Sign policy, 2 lunch detentions and hat kept until end of day

Sign policy, phone call home. 1 7:30 am. detention and hat kept until end of day

Sign policy, phone call home and hat kept until the end of the year
