Class goal: The Plumbing program prepares students for entry into the high demand career of Plumbing Construction and Maintenance. The program is offered as a unique partnership with the Barr Construction Institute (ABC Foundation, Inc.). The instructors are master technicians in the field of plumbing and will prepare the students to pass Levels I and II of the four level Plumbing Apprenticship program. Students will receive credit for the first and second years of the apprenticeship program. Upon sucessful completion of the BCI Plumbing program, students will be able to work as plumber's helpers and/or continue their education toward licensure as a Level IV Plumbing technician. Students in this program attend technical classes at the Barr Construction Institute and their academic classes at WCTHS. |
