Early Childhood Professions

CLASS GOAL: To prepare students with career skills in the Early Childhood field. Students Training will enable them to continue their education and/or enter the profession.

AS A YOUNG PROFESSIONAL YOU WILL:

  • Practice classroom management and preparation
  • Plan developmentally appropriate learning experience
  • Gain support with children
  • Provide guidance using motivational techniques
  • Communicate in oral and written form
  • Utilize materials and resources
  • Maintain a clean and comfortable environment that is conductive to learning.

THIS PROGRAM WILL PREPARE STUDENTS TO PURSUE THE FOLLOWING CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:

  • Early Childhood Assistant
  • Senior Staff/ Head Teacher
  • Early Childhood Center Director
  • Preschool Teacher

  • Internship Site Facilitator for a corporate early childhood training program with infants and toddlers
