New SAT and College/Career Readiness Information
Our guidance office pages have a wealth of information about college readiness, career readiness and the SAT test. Please be sure to visit the career and college readiness page for more information. Our latest additions include the 2011-2012 SAT Brochure and the College and Career Readiness Calendar for 2011-2012.

Parent Support Group
Our SkillsUSA chapter needs parent volunteers! We are trying to get a supportive group of parents to volunteer their time (no money!) for our school activities. These parents will possibly chaperone, assist with classroom or professional day activities, help our officer team or assist with our Regional championships in March! We will only call occasionally, so don't worry that you will be used needlessly or repeatedly.

Parking Permits
Students are permitted to drive and park on WCTHS property with the purchase of a parking permit. Because of limited parking space, permits are issued on an as needed and first come-first-serve basis. Driving regulations are as follows:
Permits must be completed and submitted to the administration for approval. Upon approval, students must purchase parking tags for a $30 fee by
August 31, 2011. Beginning in September the fee will be $40. Seniors who are involved in a co-op program that requires them to report to the school on an occasional basis will pay $15/year. The above prices are for the two lower, side parking lots located to the north of WCTHS.
Premium parking spaces are available at a cost of $50.00. These spots are located at the main entrance of the driveway. They will be numbered and assigned to the student. Students who purchase a premium space will be able to exit before all other students. Parking in this area will require that the student pull straight in.
If a student needs to drive for a single day because of an early dismissal, a temporary parking permit is available from the main office at a cost of $2
and must be signed, dated, and displayed on top of the dashboard in front of the driver.

Home School Events
For all students who are interested in returning to their home schools for Pep Rally's, Powder Puff Games, Special Home School Events, etc. during the school day, you must have a 'Permission to Attend a Home School Event' form completed and returned to the main office. This form is due no later than Wednesday morning (when the event falls on a Friday). If the event falls on any other day the form is due in the morning, THREE (3) SCHOOL DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT. No late forms will be accepted. Forms must include a signature from your home school administration, which will be checked. Forms will not be faxed for signatures and verbal permission is not allowed. This form is not needed for students who are returning to their home school to participate in a regularly scheduled athletic event. Athletes will continue to bring a note from their parent for early dismissal for each sporting event.
