Hancock Athletic Banquet
Hancock Students ~ THURSDAY and FRIDAY are the last two days for athletic banquet ticket sales. The banquet is WEDNESDAY MAY 23 at 6PM. Athlete tickets are $5, all other tickets are $10.We need 100 tickets sold by Friday or we will just have the awards assembly in the auditorium.

Quinn Alec Hoover Legacy Scholarship Fundraiser
Support the Quinn Alec Hoover Legacy Scholarship Fundraiser at Hempen Hill on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 11am-9pm. 15% of your bill will be donated to the scholarship fund. You must have a coupon or flyer to turn in. Please pick up coupons in Mrs. Irwin's Biomed room.

Media Center
All books are due back to the Media Center before May 15.

Class Bracelets
Attention Tech High Class of 2012 and Class of 2013, show your class and school spirit with silicone bracelets. On sale beginning Thursday in the cafeteria during lunch. Bracelets are 2 for $5.00 or 1 for $3.00. See a yearbook staff member to get one. They are really cool - so get them while we still got them.

Prom
Prom tickets will be on sale from Wednesday, May 9th to Wednesday, May 23rd. Tickets are $15 for a single ticket and $25 for a couple. Forms for guests who are not WCTHS students will be available from Mrs. Pacitti starting next week. Please see Mrs. Pacitti with any questions.

  • All dances are restricted to individuals that are the age of 20 and under .
  • High school students may not invite students enrolled in grades 6-8 to attend high school dances or bring children.
  • Students who leave the dance may not re-enter.
  • Dancing inappropriately or engaging in improper interpersonal conduct may result in disciplinary action. If inappropriate behavior continues after a warning, the student and/or guest may be directed to leave the premises.

SSL Hours
Juniors and Seniors in need of SSL hours...here is an opportunity for you! "Change Awareness Carnival" this Saturday, May 19th! Volunteers needed from 8-3 p.m. at the Star Equestrian Center on Greencastle Pike in Hagerstown. If available, contact Mary at 301-992-6393 or at LovingallinGod@yahoo.com This endeavor benefits the Equestrian Center which serves individuals with varying cognitive and physical disabilities.

21st Annual Kids Alive Fest Saturday, May 19th from 11:00-3:00 p.m. at Children's Village, 1546 Mt. Aetna Road, Hagerstown. Volunteers needed to supervise children during the Mini Car Rides at the rear of the Children's Village Complex. From the Counseling Center
Seniors: Your signed permission slips to leave early after the awards ceremony and graduation practice need to be returned to the Guidance Office by Monday or you will not receive your tickets for graduation.

Fall registration at Hagerstown Community College began Monday, April 30th. Graduating seniors may meet with an academic advisor to register on a walk-in basis. No appointment is needed. Advisor hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Friday 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. All students who want to be in the ESSENCE program next year will need to call 240-500-2238 to schedule a time to register for classes. The ESSENCE Scholarship deadline for the fall semester is June 1 at 4:00 p.m.

Info on HCC Scholarships, Placement Testing, Registration and ESSENCE is posted on the bulletin board outside the Guidance Office.

Seniors: Have you been accepted to a college? The Guidance Office is making a chart to hang on the bulletin board outside the office so everyone can see who's going where. Bring a copy of your acceptance letter to Mr. Vanorsdale so your name can be added!

Scholarships
