SHHS Presents The evergreen arts festival

We’re building Christmas dreams at South Hagerstown High School!  The SHHS Performing Arts Department presents two magical evenings of The Evergreen Arts Festival on December 9 and 10, 2011, at 7 P.M. The cast and ensemble will sing, dance, and perform holiday favorites to live music as they journey through a modern twist on the classical favorite, The Nutcracker. 

Guests will be entertained as they watch The Nutcracker character, Fritz, escape into Clair’s dream where he is inspired to build the Nutcracker – the guardian of sweet dreams.  SHHS students, professional dance company Neshema, and the Washington County Show Kids will perform holiday favorites including “We Need a Little Christmas Now,” “Carole of the Christmas Bells,” and “All I Want for Christmas”. 

Kickoff your holiday season with this annual family tradition.  Advance tickets are $4, with tickets available at the door for $6.  Preferred seating is available.  Holiday refreshments will be available.  To reserve tickets in advance, email peerkim@wcps.k12.md.us.
