Morel dealt with issues off the court and the classroom, but came back to be a contributor to the Rebels. With the guidance of coaches and the school, Dee is closer to realizing his dream of playing College Basketball.

Yearbook class is volunteering their time from 2:00 to 9:30 on December 17 for American Red Cross. They will be the manpower for their gift wrapping table by the Old Navy store this day. We are proud of this group for donating this Saturday.
12/16/2011 - Football Teams up for Toy Drive for Military Families
Second year in a row the Football team has scored a touchdown in providing military families with toys. This year the rewards were more then felt just by the heart as they received $2,000 from Aaron's in appreciation for their efforts.

12/10/2011 - South High tuba player chosen to be part of U.S. Army All-American marching band
Richard Mounts will be playing at the halftime show of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas
12/02/2011 - $2,000 Allen K. Graham Scholarship
Jordan Bucher was the winner of the Allen K. Graham Scholarship on Friday at the Football awards program. Jordan receives $2000.00 in scholarship money for college. The three finalists were John Kitchen, Ben Phillips and Jordan Bucher.
