After School Academic Program: Do you need help with homework? Just not getting it ? We can help!
There is a new homework club to assist you with your homework. Teachers and peers will be available to help. The program runs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 until 4:30 in the cafeteria and you may ride the twilight bus home. Just sign up during your lunch shift in the cafeteria. See Mr. Compton or Ms. Cosner if you if you have any questions.
Micah's Backpack program is designed to feed hungry students through a partnership between and elementary school and a organization in the commuity. Brought to Washington County by Trinity Lutheran Church in 2009, the program now serves over 288 students in 20 elementry schools.
The South High interact service club is proud to be involved with the local Micah Backpack program. The interact Club has adopted five children at Emma K. Doub Elementary School. In order to provide these children with nutritious breakfast, lunches, and dinner, we need help. Ongoing donations food will be needed throughout the year.
The next time you visit the grocery store please consider making a purchase for the hungry children in our community. All donations can be delivered to Mrs. Knode's classroom, Room 4247.
