Pixels and Games Tech Show at Washington County Museum on May 23

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 17, 2012) – The nationally recognized and honored Computer Game Development and Animation program at Washington County Technical High School will present the “Pixels and Games Tech Show” at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Senior students from the class have created games, animations and simulations for the show and visitors will be able to learn about the game building process and see student portfolio work that includes planning, storyboards, game character graphics, programming and music. Computer games like, “Silex,” “True Aspects,” “Endure,” “Terra Rive,” and “Sunfall” will be available to test. Students built the games for presentation to Microsoft for consideration this year. Students will also show games built for the Smithsonian American Art Museum, “The Art of Video Games” project. The show is free and open to the public
