Washington County Board of Education Advisory Committees Seek Volunteer Members
HAGERSTOWN, MD (August 31, 2010) –The Washington County Board of Education (WCBOE) is looking for dedicated Washington County residents to volunteer their time and expertise to serve on a WCBOE advisory committee.
The WCBOE has established nine citizen advisory committees for the purpose of encouraging citizens to provide the WCBOE with recommendations on matters related to the public school system. The citizen advisory committees are: Budget Advocacy and Review Advisory Committee; Calendar Advisory Committee; County Citizens Advisory Council; District Technology Planning Advisory Committee; Ethics Advisory Panel; Facilities and Enrollment Advisory Committee; Family Life Advisory Committee; Finance and Audit Review Advisory Committee; and, Safe Schools Advisory Committee.
