Career Technology Awards of Excellence on May 3 at South High
HAGERSTOWN, MD (April 29, 2010) – The 26th Annual Awards of Excellence in Career Technology Education, a partnership between Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) and Kaplan University, will be presented on Monday, May 3, 2010, at 7 p.m. at South Hagerstown High School. WCPS career and technology teachers have nominated 58 students, each to be recognized as the outstanding student in a specific Career Technology program.
In addition, the Barr Construction Institute will be honoring two Washington County students: one from the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Apprenticeship Program and one from the Plumbing Apprenticeship Program.
Kaplan University instructors will be acknowledging 14 students for outstanding accomplishments in their Career Technology programs.
