WCPS Salutes Employees with Annual Years of Service Recognition
HAGERSTOWN, MD (November 16, 2009) –Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) will salute employees who have reached five years of service or a service level that is a multiple of five, at the annual Years of Service Dinner and Recognition on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at E. Russell Hicks Middle School.
A total of 484 employees are eligible to receive an award.
Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Morgan will present remarks thanking employees for their years of hard work and dedication in serving the students and families of Washington County. The list of employees to be honored includes the following 40-year employees: Robert Beard, Jr., Diana Christian, Michael Gouker, Diedre Morreale and Rose Ulrich. Also, the memory of Conococheague Elementary School teacher Niki Queen-Rhoderick, who recently passed away, will be honored and will be saluted for ten years of service to WCPS.
