No Half-Day Pre-Kindergarten Classes on School Delay Days

HAGERSTOWN, MD (December 4, 2007) – When inclement weather or other factors result in a decision to delay the opening of Washington

County Public Schools, half-day pre-kindergarten classes are cancelled. Pre-kindergarten students who attend either a.m. or p.m. classes will

not attend school that day.

In the case of an early dismissal, a.m. pre-kindergarten students will be dismissed with all other students. In most cases, those situations will

involve morning pre-kindergarten students staying for lunch before dismissal occurs. Full day pre-kindergarten students follow the regular

school schedule in all cases.
