Central Office Health Fair Today

HAGERSTOWN, MD (October 1, 2007) – Central office employees of the Washington County Public Schools are taking advantage of the expertise and information available from vendors and health professionals at a health fair in the Board of Education auditorium today. Blood pressure screenings, limbic stress assessments (LSA), massage sessions, and informational sessions on acupuncture and Reki are available. A “lunch and learn” opportunity on natural health and weight management is scheduled too.

Event coordinator Angelia von Gersdorff says it is important for all employees to focus on maintaining and improving their health picture. “I think the fair provides a reminder for some and new information and options for others, that keeps health and healthy choices as top priorities for everyone. A healthier employee is a more productive employee.”
