Choices In Colleges & Careers 2005

HAGERSTOWN, MD (September 26, 2005) – Choices In Colleges and Careers 2005 is scheduled on Monday, October 3, 2005, from 6:30 – 9:00 PM at South Hagerstown High School. The annual college and career fair provides access to representatives from colleges, universities, trade schools and all branches of the military, for all area high school and middle school students and their parents. More than 110 institutions will be represented.

Scholarship money will be awarded to the schools sending the most students to the event, and middle school attendance at the event will be considered for the scholarship awards for the first time. A Choices In Colleges and Careers essay contest is also open to current juniors and seniors attending Washington County Public Schools, with scholarship money to be awarded to the top three entries. Details of the contest are available at the Choices web site. Essays must be submitted to school guidance offices on or before December 1, 2005.
