HAGERSTOWN, MD (September 1, 2005) – The Fourth Annual “Elvis Lives in Hagerstown” Festival will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2005, at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center on the Dual Highway, Hagerstown. Proceeds will benefit the Barbara Ingram School for the Performing Arts. Doors open at 3:00 PM and the show begins at 5:00 PM, featuring an opening number performed by the Williamsport High School Sophisticats. Four Elvis tribute artists will then follow. Sponsors include the Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce, the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the City of Hagerstown and Clarion Antietam Creek Hotel and Conference Center. Tickets are available from Donna Long at the Chamber of Commerce, at 301-739-2015, Extension 101. A feasibility study is underway for the School for the Arts, which will be located at 7 – 11 South Potomac Street in downtown Hagerstown.
