WCPS Hosts Maryland Caucus of Black School Board Members

HAGERSTOWN, MD (June 13, 2003) – With Washington County Public Schools as the host, the Maryland Caucus of Black School Board Members will hold its annual retreat in Washington County on June 13-14. The group will convene at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center on Friday evening and then meet at the Washington County Board of Education Administrative Offices from 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM on Saturday. Dr. Elizabeth Morgan, WCPS Superintendent, will give a presentation on “Closing the Achievement Gap” as it relates to the federal No Child Left Behind Act as part of the meeting on Saturday morning.
