Clear Spring High School Hosting After-Prom Party

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 4, 2005) – Clear Spring High School is offering a safe, fun after-prom option for their students this Saturday night. This is the second year for the organized activities after the prom, which will be held at school. Coordinator Matt Wilson, a CSHS teacher, says, “The idea is to provide students with an irresistible alternative to getting into bad behavior in those hours after the prom. We want to show the kids that you can have fun without drugs, alcohol and other party related activities.” Wilson would like the event to become a tradition at the school. About 70 students attended last year’s after-prom event.

A number of Clear Spring area businesses have contributed prizes and other resources to the event.
