Western Heights Spring Fair This Saturday

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 1, 2007) – The 4th Annual Spring Fair Celebration at Western Heights Middle School will be held Saturday, May 5, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. A free breakfast will be served between 9:00 and 10:30, a book fair will be set up between 9:00 and 11:00, an honor roll celebration is scheduled at 9:00, and a MySpace Internet Safety parent workshop will be held at 10:00.

Activities for kids and families will include music performed by the Western Heights Jazz Ensemble, the Recorder Club, and the Chorus and Orchestra. Face painting and sports activities will be featured, along with a book swap, raffles and door prizes, and the availability of college information.

At least 20 community agencies, ranging from Children In Need to the Health Department to Big Brothers-Big Sisters to the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Coalition, have representatives attending with displays and information.
