Fairview Outdoor Center's 3rd Annual Kite Festival

HAGERSTOWN, MD (March 7, 2005) – Kite flyers of all ages are invited to the 3 rd Annual Kite Festival at Fairview Outdoor Education Center on Saturday, March 19, 2005, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. For those who don’t bring their own kite, Fairview staff will offer a kite workshop to help children assemble their own kite. There will be a materials charge of $.50 for each kite.

Prizes will be awarded to the highest flying kite, the biggest kite and the best looking kite.

To get to Fairview Center, exit Interstate 70 at Clear Spring and continue north into Clear Spring on Route 68. Turn left onto Route 40, go west one block and turn right onto Martin Street. At the end of Martin Street turn right on Broadfording Road and travel about 100 yards. Turn left onto Draper Road and travel about 1/3 of a mile.
