Maple Sugar Festival at Fairview Outdoor Center on March 1st

HAGERSTOWN, MD (February 11, 2008) – The annual Maple Sugar Festival at Fairview Outdoor Education Center is scheduled for Saturday, March 1, 2008. Maple sugaring demonstrations and children’s activities are scheduled from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Admission and activities are free. Breakfast and lunch fare will be available at the Fairview bus pavilion.

To get to Fairview, take Exit 18 off Interstate 70 at Clear Spring, MD. Go north into Clear Spring on Maryland Route 68. Turn left on U.S. Route 40. Go west one block and turn right at the traffic light on to Martin Street. At the end of Martin Street turn right on Broadfording Road and travel approximately 100 yards. Turn left on Draper Road. The entrance to Fairview Outdoor Education Center is about 1/3 of a mile from this intersection.
