Washington County Board of Education Advisory Committees Seek Volunteer Members
The WCBOE has established nine citizen advisory committees for the purpose of encouraging citizens to provide the WCBOE with recommendations on matters related to the public school system. The citizen advisory committees are: Budget Advocacy and Review Advisory Committee; Calendar Advisory Committee; County Citizens Advisory Council; District Technology Planning Advisory Committee; Ethics Advisory Panel; Facilities and Enrollment Advisory Committee; Family Life Advisory Committee; Finance and Audit Review Advisory Committee; and, Safe Schools Advisory Committee.
Interested candidates should complete the application that is found at www.wcps.k12.md.us/school_board/advisory_committee, and e-mail to Debbie Cechovic, secretary to the Board of Education, at cechodeb@wcps.k12.md.us.
