Christina Hammer-Atkins is Teacher of the Year

Christina Hammer-Atkins, 2nd grade teacher at Boonsboro Elementary School has been named 2012-2013 Teacher of the Year. The announcement came at the annual dinner and recognition sponsored by the Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Other finalists were Allen Haines (Boonsboro Middle School), Sally Irwin (Washington County Technical High School), Heather McEndree (Western Heights Middle School) and Katie Rubeck (Rockland Woods Elementary School).
